Sorrow

This haiku hit home for me, and I think it may for many others too. We all carry something unseen: burdens, grief, or quiet sadness that we keep tucked away out of fear of how others might react. On the outside, we might look steady, composed, or even strong. But strength doesn’t mean never breaking. Even the clouds lets go when the weight is too heavy.
Holding everything inside isn’t healthy. We live in a world where vulnerability can feel dangerous, where crying is too often seen as weakness. Yet crying is natural, necessary, and deeply human. The truth is, everyone needs an outlet, a way to release what’s been bottled up inside. The longer we hold on, the heavier it becomes.
I hope one day I can let go, too. And if you’re reading this and carrying something heavy, I hope you’ll give yourself permission to let the rain fall as well.
